Apply now to be part of the first ENHANCE Blended Intensive Programme: Physics-Informed Machine Learning Applications to Geotechnical Engineering at RWTH! The application deadline is June 3, 2022.
RWTH Aachen University is part of The ENHANCE Alliance of European Universities of Technology, together with Chalmers University of Technology, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Politecnico di Milano, TU Berlin, Universitat Politècnica de València, and Warsaw University of Technology.
One of the objectives declared by the alliance is to enable student mobility without borders. For students at partner universities, this specifically means having a diverse range of exchange opportunities and an increased focus on the topics of inclusion and sustainability.
Exchange Opportunities at RWTH
With its nine faculties and 260 institutes, RWTH is one of Europe's leading science and research institutions and offers international students many opportunities to become part of the university community. Get to know RWTH during a stay abroad or through virtual course offerings. We would be happy to welcome you here!
Apply for an Erasmus+ semester abroad at RWTH via your home university. A bilateral Erasmus+ agreement must be in place between your home university and RWTH for your field of study. During this semester, you will be enrolled as a regular student at RWTH. Additional financial support can be given to students with disabilities or students who want to go abroad with a child.
Student Research Stay
RWTH cooperates with the ENHANCE partner universities in many research areas. Benefit from this close research cooperation and come to RWTH for an internship, your thesis, or a student research project. Discuss your plans with your home university and use contacts at institutes and chairs to organize a research stay at RWTH. Research placements of two months or more can be funded by Erasmus+ through your home university. Please note the application requirements.
Would you like to participate in courses at RWTH from your home university? Within ENHANCE, you have the possibility to participate in many courses as well as joint workshops online. Currently, RWTH offers courses for doctoral candidates.
Blended Intensive Programmes
This year, RWTH is offering the first ENHANCE Blended Intensive Programme, BIP for short. This is a summer school on Physics-Informed Machine Learning Applications to Geotechnical Engineering and also features a virtual pre-program. BIP will take place from July 25 to 29, 2022 at RWTH. It is aimed at Master's students from the fields of engineering, engineering geology, geophysics, computer science, and applied mathematics. Students can receive 3 ECTS for participating. BIP is funded by Erasmus+.
