Profile

Recognizing a growing demand for internationally-experienced engineering graduates, a group of leading universities around the world established the Global E3 in 1995. Global E3 allows engineering students at member universities to enjoy a fulfilling study abroad experience. 36 of the member universities are located in the US, the other are located in Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.

The consortium is coordinated by the Institute of International Education, IIE for short, in New York.

Who can apply?

Bachelor and Master students

The program enables engineering students from the above faculties to spend a study abroad semester at one of the participating partner universities.

Language Requirements

Required are language skills at the B1 level (or higher) of the European Reference Frame for Languages. A majority of universities, however, has individual language requirements, such as successfully completed TOEFL or IELTS tests, and the required test score may vary between universities.
