Femtec: Goals & Content
Femtec Aachen
Since 2003, RWTH Aachen has been part of the cooperation network. In this time about 230 enthused female RWTH Aachen students have been accepted and fostered by the program.
Program Content and Structure
The Femtec Career Building Program was developed with experts from the collaboring universities and partners from industry.
Femtec Career Building prepares you specifically for your career and future leadership responsibilities, teaches you interdisciplinary transferable skills, and supports you with the start of your career.
The collaborating universities offer excursions and internships, proide topics for the Master's theses, and are involved in business games and innovation workshops. The program is laid out in modules over two semesters. It consists of summer and winter schools, comprehensive course offerings, and advising. New courses start every September and March. Through your acquired skills, you do not only get a look at business in practice. Through the regular program points, you establish contact with companies and get to know femal students in the same subject of other leading technical universities. Individual career advising on location supplements your subject knowledge and the social networking.
The additional acquired qualifications are not only later desired in companies, but prepare you for a good career start and for later leaderships responsibilities.
