Who can apply, and when, where, and how?
The Femtec Career Building Program is intended for female students in engineering and the natural sciences who:
- are studying at one of the cooperating universities
- will complete their Master's program in a year and a half
- have a very good level of English
- are enthusiastic about STEM topics
Who is chosen?
Applicants for Femtec are chosen through a two-step process: online application and assessment center. Up to 100 students can be accepted to the program each year. The application deadline is always in the middle and at the end of the year.
How much does it cost to participate?
The Femtec.Network assumes the costs for participation in the form of a scholarship. Travel and lodging costs are not included.
At RWTH, the Faculties whose students are participating in the Femtec Program often cover the travel costs. We would therefore like to extend our gratitude to the Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty fof Georesources and Materials Engineering, and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology for providing these funds.
