Above all the personal support and advising with regards to women-specific questions really helped me, in addition to the diverse workshops, which ensure a skilled entrance in the professional world and are even fun.

What I like most about the FemTec program is its diversity: due to participants from many different backgrounds, universities and degree programs there are lots of different approaches to the problems and questions addressed. We also gained insight into very different companies early on in our studies.

I learned a lot about myself during the first few days of our Winter School. In the seminar 'Standort- und Zielbestimmung' we were often able to talk about our strengths and weaknesses and learn how to better 'market' them. The mood throughout the days was great and I finally had the chance to talk to other young women about my studies and future plans. This is usually hardly possible in my studies. The excursion was the highlight of the first Winter School for me. I not only discovered my dream career and became more familiar with it. Companies also offered us a great, diverse program: driving a Porsche Cayenne around the site, Berlin tour with lunch at Brandenburger Gate, tour of a nuclear power plant, and much more. Additionally we learned about partner companies, their goals, company philosophies, and entry level positions. A great opportunity, to apply what was learned from the company structure seminar.

At the Femtec School I met amazing women, all with very different personalities and interesting backgrounds, with whom I immediately clicked. Helping each other and sharing our personal experiences is a given in our network. The information I received here awoke my interest in unknown topics, inspired me, and motivated me to discover new things and pursue further goals. Femtec offers us women the possibility to try new things out and further develop personally and privately in a protected environment. In addition to the network, I strongly recommend contact with the partner companies as it is a good opportunity to prepare for entering the job market. The support offered through the diverse workshops, the exursions, and assistance contacting the companies was key to me and I'm positive everyone can benefit from Femtec .
