First RWTH Alumni Meeting in the Saarland

The first ever RWTH Alumni "Stammtisch" in the federal state of Saarland took place this September.

The meeting was initiated by alumnus Nikolas Kuhs, who has only moved to the Saarland recently and now wants to connect with other RWTH graduates there. "When I realized that my job would take me to the Saarland, I knew I wanted to get in touch with alumni and find new contacts at my new place of residence right away," explains Kuhs. This is how ten interested people from all over the Saarland came together for dinner. They certainly talked about their alma mater and Aachen as their former place to study, but all participants quickly realized that there would be other meetings in the future, which would then focus more on private as well as professional networking. Ideas for excursions, such as a trip to an adventure park at a former mine, have already been discussed.
