Doctoral Anniversary
Since 2004, RWTH has been inviting doctoral graduates from 25 and 50 years ago to Aachen to celebrate their silver and golden doctoral anniversaries.

Are you a jubilarian next year? Please enter your details in our central RWTH Alumni Portal so we can send you an invitation to the event. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
The milestone is always celebrated in the calendar year following the anniversary, to ensure that doctorates that were only awarded their certificate in December of the year in question have also reached their actual anniversary. In 2022, for example, the graduating classes of 1996 and 1971 were honored, and this year, those who received their certificates in 1997 and 1972 celebrated their anniversary. The date of issue of the doctoral certificate is decisive here.
This year's milestone was celebrated on September 1, 2023, from 4:30pm at Aula 1 of the Main Building. The pictures of the event can be downloaded under this link. We have sent the password to all participants of the 2023 Doctoral Anniversary.
