Registering for the 2024 Graduation Celebration

 

The 2024 Graduation Celebration will take place on September 7, 2024. Graduates from all RWTH faculties and degree programs (Bachelor’s, Master’s, Diplom, Staatsexamen, Magister, doctorate) who completed their degree in summer semester 2023 and winter semester 2023/24 are invited to attend the Graduation Celebration.

 

Participation Requirements in 2024

The following graduates are eligible to attend the event:

Bachelor's, Master's, Diplom, State Examination, or Magister students

These students must have taken their last exam for their degree between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024, for their graduation to fall within the eligible semesters.

Doctoral Candidates

Doctoral graduates must have fully completed the doctoral degree process in summer semester 2023 or winter semester 2023/24. This means the date they received their doctoral degree certificate must be between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024.

Transitioning From Bachelor's to Master's

Bachelor's graduates who completed their last exam in April 2024 – and, therefore, after the official end of winter semester 2023/24) – and can retroactively enroll in a Master's program at RWTH beginning summer semester 2024 are also eligible.

Model Course of Study in Medicine or Dentistry

An exception applies to these courses of study, as these students complete their degrees very early on in the semester. Thus, graduates of winter semester 2023/24 and summer semester 2024 are eligible to participate.
