You can apply for your chosen subject at RWTH via the Studienbrücke application portal. The Goethe-Instituts abroad will send the application link to all graduates of the Studienbrücke program.

Studienbrücke is an educational program offered by the Goethe-Institut in cooperation with the German Academic Exchange Service, DAAD for short, and German partner universities in North Rhine-Westphalia and Brandenburg.
This program prepares high school pupils and graduates with outstanding academic achievements to start a Bachelor's program at a German partner university directly with a range of specific language, technical language, and learning culture courses.
Upon successful completion of the educational program, Studienbrücke graduates may apply for admission to one of the partner universities in Germany. The Studienbrücke program is comprised of German language courses (up to level B2/C1), technical language courses (math, chemistry, physics, biology, computer science, technology and engineering), economics courses, TestDaF und TestAS preparatory courses, intercultural training offerings, and student advising.

As a partner university, RWTH offers all Studienbrücke graduates the opportunity to apply for one of the bachelor programs listed below as part of its FTBA program, which also features a special mentoring service that participants can benefit from:

- Electrical Engineering and Information Technology B.Sc.
- Computer Engineering B.Sc.
- Computer Science B.Sc.
Application Requirements
In order to participate in the FTBA program, you must have above-average school grades, an outstanding TestAS result, very good German language skills, and have successfully completed the Studienbrücke program. All applicants will also be invited for a personal interview.
What Is Special About the FTBA Support Program?
Selected participants from the Studienbrücke program will be integrated into RWTH’s FTBA support program and will benefit from a support program specially tailored to this target group.
