For whom? All new international students at RWTH Aachen

Tuesday, April 2 to Friday, April 5, 2024

I liked the Welcome Week because it was a great opportunity to meet amazing people from all around the world and make new friends.

Student from Brazil

I loved all the events and the main reason is that all of the events were well structured and very informative. […] Though I'm not in Aachen yet, I can say now that I know RWTH and Aachen city already.

Student from India

Most of the events reminded me of the ones I have at my home university, so it made me feel a really warm welcome and also like home.

The programme of the Welcome Week will be published here shortly.

We are looking forward to welcoming all new international students to RWTH during our upcoming Welcome Week!

Welcome Week in the 2024 summer semester will take place on-site from April 2 to 5, 2024. Please plan your travel to Aachen accordingly.

Why should you attend Welcome Week?

We have specially developed this program for new international students and exchange students and it is entirely free of charge! We prepare you to start your studies off on the right foot, helping you ease into your studies and get settled into the city of Aachen. We therefore strongly recommend you take part.
