RWTH Alumni Meeting in Hamburg

Dear Alums in and around Hamburg,

We are pleased to invite you to the next RWTH Alumni meeting in Hamburg – many thanks to our alumnus Winfried Sturm for organizing it.

This time, thanks to RWTH Alumni Martin Peters and Andreas Kaiser (né Pohlmann), you will have the opportunity to visit Olympus Surgical Technologies Europe (medical technology) and take a guided tour of the company. After the tour, you are welcome to enjoy a nice meal/coffee/tea/... as a group to round out the evening.

1. Olympus Surgical Technologies Europe: Meet up at 3:45pm at the reception, Kuehnstraße 61, 22045 Hamburg, Germany.

The tour will start promptly at 4pm and is expected to last until 5:45pm. Parking should be available in sufficient numbers on Kuehnstraße near the entrance. Alternatively, you can also drive onto the site via Albert-Schweitzer-Ring. By public transport, the venue can be reached by bus line 11 from U-Bahn Wandsbek Markt in about 17 minutes, getting out at the Albert-Schweitzer-Ring stop. From there it is about a 5 minute walk.

2. Café del Sol: Meet at around 6:15pm, Jenfelder Allee 80a, 22045 Hamburg

Café del Sol is about one kilometer away.
