Uni at City Hall
Is our democracy being threatened? On populism and its consequences.
Twice a year, the city and the University extend an invitation to the citizens of Aachen to attend the series of events "Uni at City Hall". During these events, current, socially relevant topics are addressed with renowned experts from the fields of science and society in the form of a dynamic panel discussion.
On March 14, 2023 at 7pm, the question "Is our democracy being threatened?" will be the focus of consideration and discussion. The panel in the Coronation Hall of Aachen City Hall will include Univ.-Prof. Dr. phil. Thomas Niehr from RWTH's Department of German Linguistics and Univ.-Prof. Dr. phil. Jared Sonnicksen, from the Institute for Political Science at RWTH Aachen University. The discussion will focus on populism and its consequences for our democracy.
Admission to the event is free of charge. You do not need to register in advance.
