Talk on Artificial Intelligence at RWTH
On Monday, May 6, 2019, Professor Gerhard Lakemeyer from the RWTH Chair of Computer Science 5 – Information Systems – will give a talk on artificial intelligence, highlighting opportunities and risks.
This lecture will be delivered in German and is part of the "Artificial Intelligence and Global Security: Quo Vadis?" series hosted by the RWTHextern Citizens' Forum. Science and technology have the potential to influence global security and peace in many different ways. While autonomous systems can benefit our society, they can also potentially be used to develop autonomous weapons systems. This series delves into the world of artificial intelligence and looks at the technical, ethical, security, and political issues surrounding it.
