RWTH Is One of the Best Universities in the World
QS World University Ranking 2020.
RWTH has secured place 138 in the current world ranking and is thus among the top 13 percent of universities rated by QS. This is Aachen's best result in the QS World University Ranking so far. The University has climbed up six places from last year and, as in previous years, RWTH continues to be ranked seventh among German universities.
RWTH scored best in the Employer Reputation indicator as in previous years, confirming the University's high standing on the job market once again. Aachen ranks 24th in the world for this indicator, with only the Technical University of Munich performing better in Germany, holding place 17.
Concerning the number of students from abroad, RWTH is distinctly above both national and international averages – 23.1 percent of the University’s student body are international students. By comparison, the international average is 10.8 percent. Aachen ranks third among all German universities for this indicator, just behind the Technical Universities of Munich and Berlin.
Finally, the University climbed the most spaces in the number of citations per employee indicator compared to the previous year.
