BeBuddy Training and Intercultural Training

 

BeBuddy Training

 

First of all, thank you very much for your interest in the BeBuddy program and your willingness to support your international fellow students at RWTH Aachen University.

We split the BeBuddy training into two components:

1. A digital BeBuddy seminar as a prerequisite for participating in the BeBuddy program and
2. An intercultural training which is, among other things, a prerequisite for the Certificate International.

Both events are held on a monthly basis. Due to Corona, it is currently sufficient for the activity as a buddy to participate in the digital BeBuddy seminar (1), even if the intercultural training (2) is strongly recommended beyond that.

The virtual BeBuddy training (1) optimally prepares you for your activities as a buddy. You will learn everything regarding the matching process, the tasks, and the general conditions up to being certified as a buddy. Further, you will complete a short homework assignment, which should not take more than 20 minutes. You have one week to watch the training video and then to submit your homework to the project coordinator.

 

Intercultural Training

Tuesday, June 6, 2023, 9:30 to 12 noon

 

The intercultural training (2) prepares you for diverse experiences in an international context and aims to promote intercultural skills. The target groups are all interested RWTH students and future buddies.
