Passion for the Automotive Industry
Recipients of this year's Alan Mulally Leadership in Engineering Scholarship have been selected.
This year, RWTH Aachen University was once again the only university in Europe to be selected by Ford Motor Company for the Alan Mulally Leadership in Engineering Scholarship, which is endowed with 10,000 US dollars. This year's recipient from RWTH is Petar Hristov, a student in the Master's in Automotive Engineering and Transport, who is specializing in Road Vehicle Technology.
The scholarship was established in 2014 to honor the lifework of then-President and CEO of Ford, Alan Mulally. Today, the scholarship primarily gives students in life sciences and engineering the opportunity to pursue their passion for the automotive industry together with Ford as their practical partner.
With their admission to the Ford Blue Oval Scholars Program, the scholarship recipients have access to various resources at Ford, such as the opportunity to exchange their knowledge and ideas or to participate in formats developed especially for the recipients.
Calls for the scholarship are announced once a year at ten selected universities around the world.
