Aachen Biology and Biotechnology Open Day

On November 16, 2012, the Aachen and Biology and Biotechnology Department (ABBt) will be opening its doors to its Open Day. In Lectures, talks, performances and personal conversations, members of the department will provide the interested public with information about its research, teaching and learning activities.

As the Open Day is especially targeted  at school students and prospective students, there will be a focus on degree programs at the department and the career prospects of Biology and Biotechnology graduates.  For this reason, representatives from the Student Advice Center and the Biology Student Council will be also present.

The open day will start with a welcome note at 9 am in the “Aula 2” lecture hall, Ahornstraße 55. The subsequent Open Day program will take place in the Sammelbau Biologie building, Worringerweg 1, which is in 15 mins walking distance from Aula 2 (a map is included in the Open Day program).
