MFCS 2019 Computer Science Conference in Aachen
130 researchers convene in Aachen to discuss questions in Theoretical Computer Science
Between August 26 and 30, 2019, the ”44th International Symposium on Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science“ (MFCS) will take place in Aachen. This is the first time the conference, which has been organized annually since 1972, will be held in Germany. The conference hosts, RWTH professors Peter Rossmanith from the Theoretical Computer Science Group and Joost-Pieter Katoen from the Chair for Software Modeling and Verification, are looking forward to welcoming 130 delegates from 26 countries in the SuperC building at RWTH Aachen University, Templergraben 55.
The conference program comprises 83 talks covering all areas of theoretical computer science, ranging from graph algorithms and logics through to automata theory and complexity theory. During the conference, the European Association for Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS) will honor the winners of the Best Paper and Best Student Paper awards.
