Training Completed: MATSE Graduates to Develop the Software of Tomorrow
A total of 73 students have now successfully completed their training. The mathematical technical software developers, or MATSE for short, are highly sought-after in the IT sector. Their training features both theoretical and practical components with a particular focus on mathematics, computer science, and programming. They can now apply their knowledge in the areas of web development, parallel programming, simulation of technical processes, database development, data visualization, or statistical evaluations and can pursue careers in several different industries.
MATSE training lasts three years and ends with a final examination before the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Alongside their training, the students also complete a Bachelor's degree in applied mathematics and computer science at FH Aachen and the RWTH IT Center. Many of the graduates will go on to pursue Master's degrees at RWTH, FH Aachen, or Maastricht University.
