The new 2013 summer semester program from RWTHextern is here! The RWTHextern Citizens' Forum is again offering a diverse program to residents of Aachen. Here are a few examples: One of the first highlights of this semester is the concert of WDR Bigband in collaboration with drummer and percussionist Bodek Janke. The project "Global Dance Culture" is a live performance, that brings together music from different continents. The concert will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2013, in Aula 1 of the RWTH Aachen Main Building, Templergraben 55. Beginn ist um 20.00 Uhr. Tickets during advance sales are 7 Euros or 4 Euros for the reduced price. Tickets at the box office are 8 Euros or 5 Euros reduced price. Tickets are available at Musikhaus Hogrebe and Frankenne.

The Citizens' Forum has invited RWTH alumnus Wendelin Haverkamp to the university for the fifth time to put on the cabaret event "Privatissimo - Metaphysics can explain everything". Haverkamp believes that where scientists cease to know anything, that is where the artists must begin. The evening will shaed by the Tiffany ensemble and a number of elite guests. The event will take place on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, starting at 8pm in the RWTH Aachen Couven-Halle, Kármánstraße 17-19. Admission is 15 Euros or 10 Euros reduced priced. You can buy tickets at the Mayersch bookstore and at the box office.

At "Uni at Cityhall", visitors can discuss the topic "Graphene [gʁa'fe:n] – Material of the Future?“ with renowned experts and scientists. The carbon material graphene is seen as a miracle material – among other things, it is expected to make transistors quicker or make displays foldable. The panel discussion will take place on Thursday, July 11, 2013, in the Coronation Hall of Aachen cityhall. Admission is free of charge and registration is not required.

You can find many other events in the program, which will be available at the end of March 2013 in various public buildings in the city and central locations at the university, such as the Main Building and SuperC.
