University Studies for Pupils 2013
250 school students can participate in RWTH Aachen's University Studies for Pupils during the summer break. The program is for the so called STEM subjects, mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology. Participants gain a practical glance at university studies through experiments, exercises, sample lectures, and excursions. Participants can select University Studies for Pupils in the subjects architecture, biology, chemistry, electrical engineering and information technology, mathematics, physics, process engineering, materials engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, and civil and environmental engineering. School students, who have completed grades 10/EF by the beginning of the summer break are eligible to participate. Participation in biology and mechanical engineering is possible starting in grade 9. University Studies for Pupils last a week and begin at 9am, ending around 4pm.
