The "RWTH Fellows are good example of binding worldclass professors to the university. They are given to scientists who have distinguished themselves in research," says Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Doris Klee, Vice-Rector for Human Resources Management and Development at RWTH Aachen. The support as an RWTH Fellow is a component of the Place to Be measure, which is part of RWTH Aachen's Institutional Strategy II. The support is project-related and offers, for example, the possibility to concentrate on research for certain period of time. External experts were included in the selection. "RWTH Aachen's goal is to be a place to be, a place at which research and teaching at the highest level support university members in all fields, helping them develop their full potential," emphasizes Klee.
