RWTH Project on Working Time Models
Concluding conference of the Arbeitszeitbox project.
Flexible working time models offer great potential to enhance competitiveness and employer attractiveness and improve the health, satisfaction and work-life balance of employees. However, the selection and introduction of a specific working time model is challenging due to the diversity of models and sometimes conflicting objectives.
As part of the Arbeitszeitbox (de) project conducted by the RWTH Institute of Industrial Engineering and Ergonomics IAW in collaboration with partners from research and industry, findings from research and experiences from companies were analyzed to provide practical tools, instruments and strategies on the subject of working time.
On Monday, October 14, the concluding event of the project will take place at RWTH Aachen University. Invited to participate are representatives from companies, unions, chambers of trade and commerce, as well as actors from business, research and corporate health and safety.
The conference is scheduled to begin at 1pm in the Ford Hall, SuperC, Templergraben 57, Aachen. Participation is free of charge; please register by e-mail for the event.
The Arbeitsbox project has been supported for a period of five years by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs as part of the New Quality of Work initiative.
