Title

Optimally Adapted Solutions for Integrated urban energy Systems

Concept

The aim of the project is to derive a method offering a holistic energy and climate vision of a specific urban area and supporting the local decision makers to design integrated, renewable-based an climate-friendly urban energy systems. The envisaged research focuses o developing a comprehensive, optimisation-based design method and will be based on strong collaboration with partners from academics and industry. The method takes into account individual technologies and services (“building blocks”) as well as ecological, economical and political conditions as inputs for the derivation of highly-integrated urban energy systems.
