Thai-German Graduate School held an information session in Aachen.

The Kingdom of Thailand ambassador to Germany, Nongnuth Phetcharatana, visited RWTH Aachen. The reason for her visit was the TGGS Days. TGGS stands for the Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering. This graduate school was founded in 1996 by RWTH Aachen and King Mongkut´s University of Technology North Bangkok. Since then, engineering Master's courses of study and doctoral study opportunities have been offered in Thailand using Aachen as a model.

In Aachen, the delegation from Bangkok listened to information about possibilities for collaboration in research and teaching. Offers for Master's and doctoral programs, exchange possibilities, and internships for students were also discussed. RWTH Aachen Chancellor Manfred Nettekoven and Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Edmund Haberstroh, RWTH Officer for TGGS, welcomed the Thai Ambassador Nongnuth Phetcharatana and Prof. Dr. Prayoot Akkaraekthalin, Dean of TGGS.
