When Museum Robots Point in the Wrong Direction
The Gesellschaft für Angewandte Linguistik (GAL) e.V. is holding a conference on September 19 and 20, 2013, at RWTH Aachen. Professor Frauke Intemann and her team from the Institute of English, American, and Romance Studies are expecting about 200 participants, including researchers from France, Austria, Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, Belgium, Marocco, and Georgia. With 100 presentations, the conference offers a broad spectrum of linguistic topics: from political online communication to language robots in museums to the role of language in emergency exercises and the meaning of multilingualism in business communication.
