21/11/2019

Professor Regina Palkovits, Chair of Technical and Macromolecular Chemistry at RWTH Aachen University, has been appointed Fellow of the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany.

Max Planck Fellowships are awarded to outstanding university professors who are given the opportunity to lead a Max Planck research group, initially for 5 years.

At the MPI for Chemical Energy Conversion, Regina Palkovits’s research group will focus on the design of novel solid molecular catalysts to cross the divide between homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis.

By awarding the fellowship, the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft seeks to promote the collaboration between its scientists and university researchers.
