44th International Hydraulic Engineering Symposium - IWASA
On the occasion of the upcoming completion of the new state-of-the-art Hydraulic Laboratory of the Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management, IWW for short, the 44th International IWASA Symposium will have a special focus on experimental approaches in hydraulic engineering.
The five key topics of the International Symposium are as follows:
- The New Hydraulic Laboratory of the IWW
- Measurements and their Analysis
- Experimental Models and Simulation in Hydraulic Engineering
- Numerical Approaches
- Hybrid Models
In the five sections, new research methods as well as hands-on experience gained in completed research projects will be presented and discussed.
About IWASA
The recognized hydraulic engineering conference is primarily targeted at civil engineers working or doing research in the fields of hydraulic engineering and water management, but is also open to a more general audience. About 400 participants are expected to attend the conference, which takes place at the AGIT Technology Center at Europaplatz, Aachen.
Participants do not need to register for the event. Entry is free of charge, thanks to the generous support from the NRW Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Agriculture, Nature Conservation and Consumer Protection; the proRWTH association; and the IWW support association.
