Learning Technologies for Start-Ups
As part of the project lecture series "Entrepreneurship and New Media,“ organized by the RWTH Chair of Information Systems and Databases headed by Professor Matthias Jarke, 27 Master’s and eight Bachelor’s students have worked on three assignments from national and international start-up companies concerned with the topic of learning technologies.
On Friday, February 7, 2014, the participating students will present the results of their projects to a wider audience and offer software demonstrations.
The first group developed a web-based learning exhibition in WordPress for the Nachhaltiges Bauen Agency, Verden. The second group developed an extension for the social semantic video annotation in WordPress for the companies Bau-ABC Rostrup, Bad Zwischenahn, and Pontydysgu Ltd., Wales. The third group collaborated with three internationally active SMEs, MRS Consultancy Ltd, Well, UK, Grafia s.r.o. in Plzeň, Czech Republic, and Asset Technology Ltd, Athens, Greece.
