T.I.M.E. Double Master Program for Incoming Students
The T.I.M.E. double master’s programme is targeted towards engineering students from one of the below mentioned T.I.M.E. partner universities in France, Sweden, Spain, Czech Republic, Poland, Brazil, Russia or Japan.
Currently, the program is offered by our Faculties of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering and Information Technology.
The duration of the T.I.M.E. programme is four semesters for students from one of the Ecoles Centrales. Students from other universities spend three semesters at RWTH Aachen University. After successful completion of your studies at RWTH Aachen you will receive both a Master's degree from RWTH Aachen and from the university in your home country. Students form one of the Ecoles Centrales obtain the RWTH Aachen Master’s degree in addition to the diploma of their home university.
Exception: Bauman Moscow State Technical University
Students from Bauman University first spend three semesters at RWTH. After earning enough credits, they return to their home university for two to three semesters. It is extremely important that students remain enrolled at RWTH for the entire duration of the double degree. It is possible to have the semester fee waived by submitting a request to the International Office. There is a remaining sum of 9 euros, which must be paid each semester.

Intensive German Courses to Get Better Prepared
If you are interested in a preparatory intensive German course at RWTH Aachen, please register with the Incoming Student Services in order to receive additional information. Students from the Deutsch-Französische Hochschule may also avail themselves of our online language courses. These courses are free of charge and are targeted at students of levels B2 or C1.
