Working closely with the Welcome Center for International Researchers we supervise newly appointed professors, coming to us from abroad, helping them individually while orienting themselves in Germany.

 

Formalities

Before your arrival we answer your questions about issues such as appointment formalities, residence permit, and visa. Furthermore, we offer advice concerning language skills and training opportunities. After your arrival, there are several formalities to complete, such as registering your residence and opening a checking account. Also, you might want to know about tax and social security contributions in Germany was well as mandatory and optional insurance options. We offer advice on these topics in a personal conversation.
