Meet the Circular Economy – Applied Sustainable Innovations
In view of the environmental limits of our planet, our consumption of natural resources is still too high, especially in industrialized countries. One of the global sustainability goals is therefore to create a shift toward sustainable production and consumption patterns. The circular economy offers a great opportunity to achieve this goal. Its innovative approaches are already being implemented in many companies.
First-hand information on the opportunities and challenges of developing and implementing circular or biobased processes will be provided in this public lecture series. In addition to students and university members from all faculties, all local residents are also welcome to attend to discuss innovative sustainability concepts of the circular economy in corporate and product development together with companies and enterprises.
If the series of events can take place in person as planned, there will be an opportunity for an informal discussion after each event.
