RWTH Explains the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences 2019

Lecture on Wednesday, January 22, 2020.

As part of the “RWTH Explains the Nobel Prize” series, RWTH professors Oliver Lorz from the Research Unit International Economics and Paul Thomes from the Research Unit for Economics and Social History and History of Technology will explain the research of the 2019 Nobel laureates on Wednesday, January 22, 2020.

The three economists Abhijit Banarjee, Esther Duflo, and Michael Kremer were honored for their experimental research in the field of development economics, which can help combat and alleviate global poverty. The event starts at 6:30pm in the Couvenhalle, Kármánstraße 17-19, Aachen.

The event is free of charge and registration is not required. Please note the lecture will be held in German.
