An employee from the RWTH Chair of Residential Construction and the Fundamentals of Design has been invited along with representatives from four other universities to participate in this year's international cultural festival "bonn hoeren".

Within the framework of a workshop directed by American architect and sound artist Raviv Ganchrow, Stephanie Brandt from the RWTH HörmalLabor and her former colleague Ariane Wilson are developing different sound projects. They are supported by a group of Master's students in the Department of Architecture and a group of graduates. The results will be presented and publicly posted during the "bonn hoeren" festival, taking place from June 12 to 22, 2014, in Bonn.

The international festival "bonn hoeren“ is a project of the "Beethovenstiftung für Kunst und Kultur der Bundesstadt Bonn“. Aside from an international symposium on "Sound Art and the City," there will be different art actions, exhibitions, and concerts. The discussion and facilitation of sound art and music in a public space is designed to draw in residents.
