RWTH Is Looking for Football Fans for a Scientific Study
Scientists from the RWTH Institute of Personnel and Organizational Psychology are investigating the relationship between hormonal reactions and emotional moments in a study.
The football World Cup is a good opportunity for scientists to analyze emotions and physical effects of football fans during "their" teams' games using testosterone processes in saliva.
Participants are currently being sought for the study. Both female and male football fans can participate, as long as they are fans of the German or Italian teams and are at least 18 years old. After registering online participants receive materials in the mail. They take a saliva sample before and after the football game in their normal environment.
All participants will receive detailed feedback about their personal measurement values and results of the study and participate in a prize lottery.
