Science is Art

RWTH Aachen is holding a workshop on the knowledge culture of design.

Architecture is characterized by its ambivalence towards artistic and technical thinking and actions. Science and art come together here; not in pre-modern methods, but rather as a contemporary, universal form of knowledge of objective and subjective stakes in the design process.

The RWTH Aachen Faculty of Architecture is holding a day of science on the Culture of Knowledge of Design on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at 10am in Lecture Hall HKW 5, Wüllnerstraße 1.

Where do science and design meet? Different speakers from Germany and abroad will speak, for example on "Designing Cultures of Change." All interested individuals are welcome to attend.
