RWTH Aachen Once Again Receives Top Grades from Industry

Wirtschaftswoche's university ranking from June 23, 2014, once again certified RWTH Aachen's top reputation among German companies. Every year the Wirtschaftswoche surveys around 500 human resources representatives from large and medium-sized German companies, asking which universities the best trained graduates come from. The survey places particular emphasis on practical-orientation.

Human resources representatives gave a very good evaluation for Aachen graduates in both the natural and engineering sciences. This proves that RWTH not only holds a top position in research but also in educating and training future academics and provides its students with outstanding preparation for beginning their careers.

RWTH Aachen maintains the top position among German universities in the fields electrical engineering and natural science. Graduates of the Aachen university most often fulfill industry's expectations. However, satisfaction with Aachen engineers also runs high in computer science, mechanical engineering, and industrial engineering: in these fields RWTH Aachen received second place.

In past years RWTH consistently received outstanding evaluations and was among the top three in all five fields. This is continually proven by the high niveau that the Aachen university ensures its students. Taking the increasing number of students into consideration, excellent teaching remains a the key to providing Germany with outstanding scientists and technical experts and ensuring students an outstanding education.
