RWTH Aachen faculties, university organizations, and the AStA student representative body have the opportunity to nominate suitable candidates for the 2014 DAAD Award for International Students.

  

The award, worth 1000 Euros, serves to recognize international students with outstanding academic performance who also excel in their social and intercultural engagement.

Eligible for nomination are experienced students in higher semesters, recent graduates, and doctoral candidates at RWTH Aachen. Not eligible are students who have already acquired a university degree in Germany or who already receive a scholarship from a German funding organization.

Please send your nominations, outlining the candidates' academic and extracurricular achievements, via email to by August 20, 2014. A selection committee will review the nominations and agree on the award recipient.

The award will be presented in January 2015 at the “RWTH transparent” event.
