The Aachen Observatory – Fascination of the Starry Skies

Tuesday, June 13, 2023, 9:30pm

The Aachen Observatory is one of the astronomical observatories traditionally known as People’s Observatories, of which there are more than forty in Germany. Their task is to impart basic astronomical knowledge to the wider public. In good weather, visitors can observe celestial objects with the large telescope. In bad weather, there is a lecture on astronomy, and participants have the opportunity to visit the dome with its large telescope. The guided tour lasts about 90 minutes.
