RWTH and ASEAG Work Together Against Crowded Buses
Later lectures at the university help alleviate transportation issues.
Starting the 2014/2015 winter semester, which begins October 13, 2014, lectures for RWTH students will no longer start at 8:15am but rather at 8:30am. In collaboration with ASEAG, Aachener Straßenbahn und Energieversorgungs-AG, the University made the change to make using public transportation as comfortable as possible for students and university employees.
The later start is expected to help even out the overburden of school, university, and other business traffic. In the past, buses were overfilled already as the semester began. An agreement between ASEAG and Deutscher Bahn was also made.
