Painting exhibition in the Staff Council offices

Artistic expression during free time is an important way for many people to balance out work and everyday life. There are many talented individuals among RWTH's employees. A selection of paintings are currently being exhibited in the Staff Council offices on Kackerstraße 9 and can be viewed weekdays from 8:30am to 3:30pm. The paintings were completed by members of the University's academic community and administration after work or on the weekend.

The following staff members contributed to the exhibition: Gaby Jenske, Chair of Sociology; Gisela Beissel, Chair of Applied Microbiology; Wanda Frohn, Chair of Process Systems Engineering; Renate Bosetti, Institute of High-Voltage Energy; Eva-Maria Kunert, Chair of Romance Philology I;  Stephan Wimmers; Institute of Physical Chemistry; Elke Müller, Construction Management; and Elke Schaberger-Zimmermann, RWTH Aachen Foundry Institute.

"It was important to use that these pieces didn't just hang in private but were actually shown to the public," says Hans Keller, Chair of the RWTH Staff Council. "By being on display, the pictures may be able to bring a smile to a colleague's face."

The Staff Council Team looks forward to your visit.
