Who Wants to Make a Christmas Gift Donation?
Who wants to fulfill the Christmas wish of a child, a youth or a young adult who has had burdensome life experiences in his or her past? You can do so by exchanging one of wish tags on the Christmas tree in the foyer of the SuperC for a Christmas present. Just take one of the wish tags, enter the name of the child in the list, and come back at a later stage to hand in the wrapped present at the SuperC info desk.
The charitable Christmas campaign, which is taking place for the seventh time this year, is organized by the Chair of Business and Economics for Engineers and Natural Scientists at RWTH Aachen. Other partners include Rotary International, the youth organization Rotaract, and the company Flower Power Seidenblumen Import GmbH.
In a celebratory event on Wednesday, December 17, RWTH Rector Ernst Schmachtenberg and Professor Malte Brettel, Vice-Rector for Industrial Relations and initiator of the campaign, will give the presents to the children and youths, who are currently in the custody of Jugendhilfezentrum Burtscheid.
