Audiovisual Media Center – AVMZ

 

The AVMZ has a vast amount of experience in media work and has the technical equipment to conduct work in the following areas:

 

Interdisciplinary Media Projects

With its collaborative partners in the departments and institutes, the AVMZ is developing e-learning and blended learning projects with the aim of permanently including them in the curriculum.

Media Productions

Media productions varying in type and complexity are developed such as videos (including interactive ones), multimedia learning applications, web apps, i-books, and game and movement based applications. The resulting possibilities for use and target groups also vary. As a result, there are interesting approaches for new teaching and learning scenarios and for teaching research.

  • The AVMZ is located in the University Hospital on the first floor, near elevator C6. The entrance to the center is directly next to the elevator (yellow door, please ring the bell).
 

Promotion of Media Skills

This encompasses courses for students in the medical courses of study, such as the medicine model course of study, physical therapy, and logopedics; trainings for teachers and staff; and individual project-related advising upon request.

Media-Technical Support and Service

The AVMZ offers assistance for questions and problems regarding everyday work with media and for planning and implementing courses with comprehensive media technology.

Distribution of Teaching/Learning Media

Media are provided via the emedia skills lab teaching and learning platform, whether for independent study for students or as a pool of resources for teachers.
