UB - University Library
The University Library, abbreviated as UB, is the central institution for supplying literature and information at RWTH Aachen. It first and foremost serves teaching and research and academics. Furthermore, it is available to RWTH's collaborative partners and other target groups.
The UB is located at the corner of Templergraben/Wüllnerstraße; in the direct vicinity of the RWTH Main Building.
Our Blended Learning Offer:
- Introduction to the RWTH Library System - Online-Tutorial: The tutorial is an electronic alternative to our basic coursse, which provide fundamental knowledge for orienting yourself in the RWTH library system and beginning to search for literature.
- Reference Management – In-Person Courses (de) and Online Help Desk (Adobe Connect): The UB holds courses on campus licenses for EndNote and Citavi. The in-person classes are supplemented by the online help desk.
- Webinars: The UB offers webinars parallel to the in-person classes about reference management programs.
- From Idea to Product – an Interactive Guide (de): The handbook from the Patent and Standards Center illustrates the path from idea to product step by step, both for those affiliated with RWTH as well as independent inventors and KMU.
- Online-Tutorials: The UB includes online tutorials on different subjects on its website. These tutorials deal with general questions that are not specific to RWTH
