WDR Bigband to Play at RWTH

The WDR Bigband is visiting and playing at RWTH for the fifth time as a guest of the RWTHextern Citizens' Forum.

The concert New York State of Mind will feature solists, trumpeter Marvin Stamm, and pianist Bill Mays, who have worked together with many renowned jazz musicians over the course of their five decade careers. The arrangements were created by Richard DeRosa, the new head conductor for the WDR Bigband.

The event is on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at 8pm in the Aula of the RWTH Main Building, Templergraben 55. Tickets can be bought for nine Euros ahead of time or for ten Euros at the evening box offices. Discounted tickets are four and five Euros respectively. Tickets can be bought beforehand at KlenkesTicket, Musikhaus Hogrebe, and Frankenne, and the evening of the event at the box office.
