Foundations for Business Success

01/04/2015

Those who decide to become self-employed or intend to work in a start-up company are faced with a number of challenges. In order to help young company founders succeed in their ventures, the Center for Entrepreneurship, which is associated with RWTH’s Innovation und Entrepreneurship Group, will host an Entrepreneurship Week in collaboration with Sparkasse Aachen and the Aachen Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK). The event is scheduled to take place between April 20 to 23.

The Entrepreneurship Week is open to anyone interested in starting a company, regardless of whether they already have a business idea or not. The aim of the offered workshops and presentations is to provide a practice-oriented overview of the most important topics surrounding the start of a business. Furthermore, the event presents participants the opportunity to network with potential partners.

The presentations provide information on topics such as HR development, marketing strategies, and insolvency prevention, for example. Participants have the chance to discuss with Business Angels and experienced company founders.

The regular participation fee is 100 Euros, students without a university degree pay a reduced fee of 50 Euros. Fees include four lunches, drinks and snacks as well as a dinner at the Entrepreneur’s Evening. The registration period closes April 8, 2015.
