Invited by the RWTHextern Citizens' Forum, the President of the European Parliament and recipient of the Charlemagne Prize 2015 visitied the University and talked in front of an audience of about 1500 students and citizens.

 

Crisis in Ukraine, refugee policy, and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership or TTIP – the questions Martin Schulz answered in Hörsaal Fo1 of Kármán Auditorium couldn't have been more current.

The International Charlemagne Award recipient showed his enthusiasm for the interested audience, which included many students.
