More Women in Technology and the Natural Sciences

The low percentage of women that continues to persist in the technical and natural science courses of study shows that studies dominated by men thus far are still not yet a natural choice for many young women.
In order raise women's or rather girls' awareness of their potential skills, "MINT-Schnupperstudium für Schülerinnen" is taking place from October 19 to 21, 2015. The project offers a glance at the different fields of engineering and the natural sciences. The focus of the event is participation in two workshops at RWTH institutes and contact with female scientists. Presentations about studies in general, application, and career possibilities round out this offer.
