RWTHextern Citizens' Forum Winter Program Now Available
RWTHextern Citizens' Forum is once again offering an interesting look at the world of science during the 2015/2016 winter semester for all of Aachen and the region.
The highlight of this semester's program are the events around the Jülich Aachen Research Alliance (JARA), a cooperation between RWTH and Forschungszentrum Jülich. The six different JARA sections, such as JARA-ENERGY and JARA-BRAIN, will deliver presentations of their work. Furthermore, on November 4, 2015, Forschungszentrum Jülich will open its doors to the public.
The program also includes a panel discussion held as part of the "Uni at City Hall" event series. On November 12, 2015, experts from science, business and the media will discuss Germany's "Energy Transition" to renewable energy.
The program will be kicked off with a panel discussion titled "Tales & Science," scheduled to take place on October 3 at 11am in the Humboldt-Haus, Pontstraße 41. George MacPherson, a collector of Celtic myths and legends, will discuss the topic of "Does Dead Matter Exist?“ with artist and RWTH professor Michael Schulze from the Department of Sculptural Design.
