Energy Transition - On the Right Path?

"Uni at City Hall" invites the public to a panel discussion.

The Federal Ministry for Economics Affairs and Energy's website states the following, "We are completely on schedule for the 10 point energy agenda for implementing the energy transition: however urgent decisions regarding core questions must be made as there are important tasks ahead: faster and more resident-friendly expansion of power grids, the shaping of a future energy market, a clear perspective for the technology in power-heat coupling, and consistent implementation of climate goals."

Are we on the right path? Is there a right way and what are its criteria?

RWTH professor Dirk Uwe Sauer; Dr. Peter Asmuth, chair if STAWAG; Dr. Christoph Maurer, consentec energy consulting and energy expert; and journalist Jürgen Döschner (invited) will talk with attendees. The event will be moderated by WDR journalist Bettina Staubitz and will take place Thursday, November 12, 2015, at 7:30pm in the Coronation Hall of Aachen City Hall, Markt. The event is free of charge. Registration is not required.
